The book2net Light ideally complements projects that require the use of a variety of different devices and are looking for an inexpensive and high-quality solution in A2 format. Equipped with a high-resolution CMOS camera, the book2net Light not only delivers exceptional image quality, but also exceptional productivity thanks to its scanning speed. In combination with our SCAMIG 210 document scanner, the book2net Light provides a highly efficient hybrid scanning solution.
Optimize your workflow by seeing the result before scanning: The book2net Light is equipped with the Live Control software tool, which shows you the scan result before the actual scan. It automatically calculates corrections in milliseconds, thus preventing manual intervention and repositioning and avoiding incorrect scans.
Professional UV/IR and ozone free lighting system. With a light exposure of less than 2,500 lux and a service life of over 50,000 operating hours, the highest conservation and ecological requirements are met. The Fresnel lenses specially developed for the book2net lighting units are a major technological advantage over classic lighting units. They ensure perfect light distribution and illumination. Unwanted and annoying gradients and reflection effects that otherwise occur in very light or very dark surfaces and also with shiny materials are avoided.
Two operating modes:
1) Flash: The lamps light up slightly for the scan and then reduce their intensity again immediately after the scan. A heating up of the room, often annoying with permanent light, is avoided and at the same time the service life of the light units is extended considerably.
2) Continuous light: On request, it is possible to work with a higher “lamp bias”, whereby the “brightening effect”, if it is perceived as annoying, is omitted.
The Live-Control Software-Tool supports the operator significantly in optimizing the scan quality.
Live View Professional serves as an alignment aid. The live preview shows the current alignment and positioning of the templates. The sharpness setting display offers the possibility of checking and adjusting the sharpness value.
Live Control Professional is the intelligent analysis software for problematic scan templates such as uneven book pages or stapled and skewed documents.
Form, format, position and angle of the templates are analyzed via live recognition. Corrections and suggestions for the alignment of single and double pages, deskewing, page separation, clipping or framing are made in live video mode. The corrected result can be checked directly in the live preview. Triggering the scan confirms the analysis proposal and starts the digitization process.
Live Control Professional provides a scan correction in milliseconds and saves manual intervention, repositioning and time-consuming multiple scans.
