Digitize up to 3,300 book pages within an hour—with the book2net AutoScan V, this is easily achievable for books in formats up to A3+. This workload can be achieved thanks to two technical components: First, the book pages are sucked in by a vacuum, and second, a robotic arm helps turn the pages.

However, the high speed does not have any negative impact on the book being scanned or the quality of the digitized images. The sophisticated sensor technology of the high-quality book2net HD cameras guarantees consistently excellent results: a resolution of 600 to 1800 ppi and absolute color fidelity are attributes that stand for top quality.

The gentle vacuum absorption and the book cradle with a reduced V-shape 110° opening angle ensure that even particularly sensitive books are scanned in accordance with conservation standards. Thanks to the sophisticated “Eye Flip Mirror Technology”, perfect results are always achieved, even if the book pages are curved or undulated.

In addition, user-friendly features such as “Eagle Eye Dynamic” ensure that books of different sizes are automatically centered.  “Laser Eye Technology” also detects whether the robot arm is actually turning exactly one page. This prevents it from reaching into empty space or turning several pages at once, which would make the digitized copy incomplete.

Another highlight is the AI-powered voice assistant and speech recognition, which enables scanned texts to be recognized in different languages.
