Everything can be found in archives. They are silent witnesses to history that have so many exciting stories to tell. The formats, age and condition of the individual documents vary enormously, and careful handling of every archive item, from medieval charters to modern printouts, is essential. The greatest care and flexibility are therefore required in the course of digitization.

Many of our scanning systems specially tailored to archives have been developed in close cooperation with large archives, for example the Hybrid Scanning Solution that was developed for the German Federal Archives. This allows documents in a wide variety of formats, materials and states of preservation, such as deeds, letters, carbon copies, photos, newspaper clippings or even small objects such as seals or medals, to be digitized efficiently, gently and in a structured manner in the highest quality.

Archives worldwide rely on our systems, which we develop and produce directly on site in Bad Nauheim – from large national and state archives, including in Germany, Austria, France, Finland, Great Britain, Italy, Kazakhstan and the United Arab Emirate, to city and municipal archives and corporate and private archives.
