Various technical components are crucial to ensure that the digitized copy looks exactly like the original. Firstly, there is the sensor, which performs a 3D analysis of the page to detect whether the paper is wrinkled, for example. The high-quality camera, together with the LED lighting including Fresnel lenses, transports the document or book page into the digital world.

The exact results are also thanks to the book cradle. The Kiosk Pro has a self-adjusting book cradle to ensure that the double page of a thick book lies completely on one level and that the distance to the camera is the same everywhere.

Scanning with the Kiosk Pro is completed within 0.2 seconds, and scanning, transferring and saving take just 2.0 seconds in total. The convenience of this product includes a 24-inch screen on which you can view the future result even before the document has been scanned. This preview option is just as much a plus point of the device as the zoom function on the display. The software ensures that nothing gets mixed up.
