Designed for the highest demands
M150 camera
You can’t do without sharpness. If you want to digitize a document, a drawing or a map, regardless of its size, you can expect an exact reproduction. Right down to the last corner. But not every technology makes this possible. You can rely on our M150. The 152-megapixel sensor alone speaks for itself, but that’s not all that makes this repro camera so special.
First, an important note on use: The camera, which is supplied complete with lens and is also compatible with lenses from all leading manufacturers, can be used “just like that”. Just like a conventional camera, except that the results are in a league of their own. What’s more, the M150 can be integrated into all our scanning systems. So, you can enjoy both advantages: the flexibility of a handy camera and the convenience of our state-of-the-art scanners.
Back to the technology that makes the M150 so exceptional – in addition to the high megapixel count. First and foremost is the global shutter. In contrast to the rolling shutter, it does not allow any blurring, as all pixels of the original to be digitized are exposed simultaneously. Everything is captured within an extremely short exposure time. Thanks to this technology, perfectly uniform sharpness is achieved. This makes the M150 interesting for the cultural sector, especially when large-format originals are to be digitized in perfect resolution. Industry can also benefit from the M150. Think of moving objects, where the short exposure time is of the utmost importance if you want to “freeze” these objects photographically.
Perfection in terms of sharpness is a central aspect that makes the M150 attractive. But it is by no means the only one. You can choose between a color, grayscale and multispectral sensor. While the first two variants are self-explanatory, the multispectral sensor offers possibilities that will make the heart of anyone interested in history beat even faster. By using infrared and UV light, different “layers” of a document can be made visible. Thanks to this technology, for example, watermarks can be recognized or faded writing made visible, additional information about the condition of the paper can be obtained and places where the document has already been restored can be seen. The writing or drawing material can also be identified with a multispectral analysis.
The M150 camera is very robust thanks to the quality of the material, the high-quality workmanship and the absence of moving parts. This means that the pioneering technology inside is well protected. After all, the user must be able to rely on it. The result is digital copies that meet the highest standards. And in no time at all, because efficiency is another aspect that is fully met by this camera. Whether in museums, archives, libraries or in industry – the M150 creates added value everywhere that you won’t want to do without.
M150 Features
The new M150 is the first 150 megapixel camera to combine unique image quality with high productivity. By using the latest generation image sensor with global shutter, the M150 offers an attractive combination of high frame rate and impressive dynamic range. The modular concept not only enables the realization of individual, tailor-made solutions; it also allows integration into existing systems and workflows.
