Im Gegensatz zum Rolling Shutter lässt er keine Unschärfen zu, da alle Pixel der zu digitalisierenden Vorlage gleichzeitig belichtet werden. Alles wird innerhalb einer extrem kurzen Belichtungszeit erfasst. Dank dieser Technik wird eine perfekte gleichmäßige Schärfe erreicht. Auch das Schreib- oder Zeichenmaterial lässt sich mit einer Multispektral-Analyse herausfinden.
