The book2net method works without changing the filter (thus vibration-free) and without post-correction of sharpness and focus in the spectral ranges (to the exact pixel scale).

The book2net Multispectral System is an innovative, non-invasive tool for scientific and material analyzes, for forensics and for the comprehensive documentation of works of art, including origin, authenticity or condition. With the help of our system, up to 11 captures in a wide variety of wavelength ranges and their combinations can be generated within a few seconds in fully automatic processes.
The visualization of faded fonts is just as possible as the representation of signatures, of material combinations in writing, drawing and painting materials or of traces of organic aging processes. Documents can also be checked for authenticity by analyzing the completeness of specific features.
The X71 not only sets new standards in the field of modern digital cameras, it is also the heart of all our scanners. Our CMOS sensor technology is the key element of the system and enables high-resolution capturing of archive materials, books, cards, seals and objects of various sizes and structures. The X71 camera is characterized by first-class image quality, flexible handling and an incredible scanning speed.
Scanning without changing the filter (time-consuming, causing vibrations and pixel offset) and in a broad light spectrum to freely select the individual spectral ranges characterize our approach.
Broadband LED light lines (UV, IR, VIS) ensure homogeneous surface illumination in the spectral ranges. This is a prerequisite for color, off-color, grayscale and material analyzes.

For each type of original, scan profiles can be defined for each spectral range. Automated scan, light and analysis processes can be stored as a standard or combined to form scan series.
The focus is on ergonomics and ease of use. The possibility of placing a display in the user’s field of view was a customer request that we were happy to implement. Ease of use is increased and both the scan preview and the scan results can be checked immediately in full screen mode.
Optionally, MICROBOX supplies this equipment together with a workstation based on the latest and most modern components of Microsoft® and Intel; a PC optimized for fast transfer rates to ensure scan and process speeds of less than 2.2 seconds.
Specially selected LED light sources in combination with the shortest possible lighting times ensure particularly gentle capturing. The intelligent profile and analysis management reduces the scanning process to a minimum.
